Wood Snake (Chinese: 乙巳; pinyin: yǐsì) is the 42nd combination of the sexagenary cycle of the Chinese zodiac. It is preceded by Wood Dragon and followed by Fire Horse. In the traditional correspondence of the Heavenly Stems with the Five Phases, yǐ (乙) represents yin and Wood, while the Earthly Branch sì (巳) corresponds to the Snake zodiac.
