Accessibility statement
Fathomly should be usable by everyone.
Last updated September 14, 2026
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA across the site.
What we do
- A “skip to content” link and a consistent heading structure on every page.
- Full keyboard support, with visible focus, including search suggestions and dialogs.
- Text colors that meet contrast requirements, and layouts that reflow on small screens and when zoomed.
- Animations that switch off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Videos that only load when you choose to play them.
Known limitations
Encyclopedia entries are adapted from volunteer-written sources, so some images may lack descriptive text and some complex tables may be hard to navigate with a screen reader. Embedded videos use YouTube's player, and captions depend on the video's creator.
Feedback
If something is hard to use, email a26279012@gmail.com with the page address and the problem. We aim to reply within five working days.
