Encyclopedia entries

Encyclopedia entries adapt text from English Wikipedia, licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0. For each entry we credit the source article and its authors, link to the license and describe our changes (layout, removal of citation markers and navigation, punctuation). Our adapted versions are shared under the same license. Fathomly is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Wikimedia Foundation. “Wikipedia” is a trademark of the Wikimedia Foundation.

Images

Images come from Wikimedia Commons under free licenses or the public domain. The author and license of every image in an article are listed in that article's credits. Card thumbnails link to the article that carries their full credit.

Videos

Videos are embedded with YouTube's own player, as YouTube allows, and remain the property of their creators. Fathomly does not host or download them, and each is credited to its channel.

Reporting infringement

If you believe material on Fathomly infringes your copyright or other rights, email a26279012@gmail.com with:

  • your name and contact details;
  • a description of the work you believe is infringed;
  • the exact address of the page and the material concerned;
  • an explanation of why you believe it is unlawful;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized;
  • a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them;
  • your physical or electronic signature.

We review every notice promptly, remove or disable access to material where appropriate, and let you know the outcome. If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address.
