Callinectes
Genus of crabs

Callinectes (from Ancient Greek κάλλος (kállos), meaning "beautiful", and νήκτης (nḗktēs), meaning "swimmer") is a genus of crabs containing species such as the Atlantic blue crab C. sapidus.
