LIM domain-containing protein ajuba (or ajuba for short) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the AJUBA gene (previously JUB).
01Function
Ajuba contributes to cell fate determination and regulates cell proliferation and differentiation. It plays an important role in the regulation of the kinase activity of AURKA/Aurora-A for mitotic commitment.

The protein was first discovered in mice, and named "ajuba" after the Urdu word for "curiosity".
